Lin Yi-Chi is a Taiwanese artist and filmmaker based in Taipei. Trained in both contemporary art and filmmaking, her practice spans video art, experimental cinema, and moving-image installation, exploring diasporic experiences, historical residues, and postwar legacies across Asian geopolitical contexts. Through field research, sound collection, and dream studies, she investigates how history persists through everyday spaces, personal memory, and sensory experience.

Her work has been presented at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), the Gwangju Biennale, Biennale Jogja, Jakarta Biennale, the Taiwan Biennial, Taipei Fine Arts Museum, and Jim Thompson Art Center.
